Most of the internet breaks quietly. A domain expires. A review goes unanswered. A site goes down and nobody notices for a week. Our whole philosophy is simple: someone should always be watching. That someone is Azieni.
We started Azieni because we were tired of watching good, hardworking businesses in Tanzania lose customers for no good reason.
A creative youth in Njombe builds excellent furniture, but hardly gets new orders. A guest house in Dodoma has clean rooms and good food, but stays half-empty. A miller produces quality maize flour, yet people keep buying from competitors they’ve seen online instead.
The problem was never the product. It was that the business was invisible online; a website that stopped working, a Facebook page gone quiet for weeks, a domain that expired without anyone noticing, customer messages and reviews nobody replied to.
None of these owners had time to learn “how the internet works” on top of running an actual business. And every option they’d tried before us either cost too much or disappeared after launch.
So we built something different, and we gave it a name that says exactly what we do. Azieni, to us, means someone who watches your back. That’s the whole job: we handle your website, your social media, and your online reputation, quietly, in the background, so you can handle your business.
Most of the internet breaks quietly; a domain expires, a review goes unanswered, a site goes down and nobody notices for days. We built Azieni to be the one who’s always watching, so you don’t have to be.
To handle the website, social media, and online reputation for African businesses, so owners can spend their time running their business instead of managing the internet.
A future where no good business in Africa stays invisible online for lack of time, money, or technical know-how.
